Melinda's Story

Melinda Dwyer started telling stories from a young age. She spent her childhood years writing and illustrating books to read to the children at her family's childcare. She took many advanced writing courses throughout high school and posted stories anonymously online. Melinda has an Associate's degree in liberal studies and a Bachelor's in English and Creative Writing.
She writes fantasy and dystopian novels with a concentration on character dynamics and relations.
When she's not writing or reading, Melinda enjoys various athletic endeavors such as kickboxing, rock climbing, and hiking. She also dedicates a fair amount of time to mastering the art of frisbee throwing to appease her dogs. Both of which are tough critics. Melinda also runs a writing group that hosts weekly writing sprints and monthly critique groups.
